Danny Dias, who appeared on MTV's hit reality competition shows "Road Rules" and "The Challenge" has died, People magazine reports. He was 34.

Police said Dias was found Saturday evening after receiving a call about a man who needed help in Brooklyn, New York City. When authorities arrive, Dias was unconscious and unresponsive with paramedics pronouncing him dead on the scene.

A cause of death has yet been revealed but People reports a source said Dias was found with lacerations on his wrists and was surrounded with hallucinogenic drugs. TMZ reports Dias invited friends to his home on Saturday and later parted ways. When the friend returned to his home later that day, Dias was reportedly found dead.

In another TMZ post, the website reports police are treating Dias' death as a possible suicide.

As The Huffington Post notes, Dias, a New Jersey native who attended Westminster Choir College of Rider University, was one of the few openly gay contestants on "Road Rules." He appeared on Season 13 of the reality show in 2004. He competed on "The Challenge" the following year but was cut early on.
