RuPaul to Get a Star on Hollywood Walk of Fame

We always knew RuPaul was a star!
The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce ru-vealed a number of celebrities who will be added to the iconic Hollywood Walk of Fame and Emmy winner RuPaul was among the group, World of Wonder reports.
The "Drag Race" host took to Twitter to react and to share the news.
Other notable additions to the the sidewalk, which stretches 15 blocks on Hollywood Boulevard and three blocks on Vine street, include out producer Ryan Murphy, Eric McCormack, Lynda Carter, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Gillian Anderson, Jennifer Lawrence, Shonda Rhimes, Snoop Dogg, Weird Al, Minnie Mouse, Niecy Nash, Mary J. Blige, Kristen Dunst and Simon Cowell.
"[We] looked carefully at each nominee and we feel that we have selected an eclectic group of talent that will appeal to the tastes of many fans around the world," Walk of Fame committee member Vin Di Bona said in a statement. "I know these honorees will remember the dedication of their stars with great memories and will be proud that they are part of Hollywood's history now and forever."
