Where's Whale-do? Internet Has Field Day Photoshopping Christie Beach Photo Into Everything
READ TIME: 2 MIN.
When it comes to politics, Americans famously have short attention spans and even shorter memories. Not so much, however, in the case of New Jersey Governor Chris Christie, whose "Bridgegate" scandal derailed his once-hopeful bid for the presidency, and whose recent "Beachgate" photo continues to light up the internet in a seemingly endless series of hilarious memes.
At this point, we've all seen it. The photo of a smug Christie sunning himself in a beach chair over the Fourth of July holiday weekend during a government shutdown that closed beaches and parks to the general public. The image caused the Republican Governor's approval rating to drop to 15 percent. The Arial photo went viral. But viral usually only lasts a few days.
Enter Photoshop.
The popular image editing software has never been easier to use. And thanks to some creative minds and a rabidly angry internet, Christie in his beach chair just can't seem to stay off of social media.

"Scotty, take us to the George Washington Bridge at warp speed!"
"Life is like a box of chocolates. Hey! who ate them all?"
"Toto, we're aiming to drop the house on this one."
The hills were alive. Now they're on life-support.
Do you think if Christie was on the Minnow's ill-fated "three hour tour,' that the cast of "Gilligan's Island" would have turned to cannibalism?

From Beach Day to Broadway
Going to the theater has always been risky for Republicans. Just ask Mike Pence or Lincoln. Here, Christie and his chair park it on the stage of some of Broadway's biggest hits.
