Watch: Fla. Drag Queen Talks Supporting Trump, Being 'Black-Balled' From Performing

READ TIME: 1 MIN.

CNN recently shared new video segments of Americans who voted for Donald Trump in the 2016 presidential election. In the clips, they explain their support and if they still back the controversial 45th president of the United States. Some of the voters also detail how they've been mistreated for their backing of Trump.

Among the group of people CNN interviewed about their Trump support is James Davis - a Florida-based drag queen who preforms under the name Elaine Lancaster.

"I come from a community that touts we are so inclusive, we...embrace what's different. All we ask for is tolerance and equality," Davis presumably says of the LGBTQ community as the fellow Trump backers nodded their heads in support. He then reveals he makes a living as a female impersonator, having hosted a number of LGBT events for the last two decades, including the White Party.

"When I came out as a supporter of Trump, I was black-balled instantly," Davis says in the CNN clip he posted to his Twitter account, which has over 11 million followers. "They got online campaigns...I couldn't be the M.C. anymore, I got death threats and lawsuits pending against people now. Oh, it's horrible."

Watch the clip below. Davis' remarks come around the 5:20 mark.
