Watch: Trailer for Netflix Series 'Mindhunter' Starring Jonathan Groff Debuts

The trailer for the new Netflix thriller series "Mindhunter" starring Jonathan Groff has finally made its way online.
After the cancellation of "Looking," Groff went on to appear in the Broadway sensation "Hamilton" but will soon return to the small screen in this David Fincher-produced series. Though plot details remain thin, the series will be set in 1979 and follow two FBI agents, Groff and Holt McCallany, who interview imprisoned serial killers in hopes to solve ongoing cases.
The upcoming show is based on John Douglas and Mark Olshaker's book "Mind Hunter: Inside the FBI's Elite Serial Crime Unit," which chronicles Douglas' time working as an FBI profiler.
Along with Fincher, who is rumored to direct some of the series, Charlize Theron serves as a co-producer.
"Mindhunter" will hit Netflix on Oct. 13.
