READ TIME: 1 MIN.

With only a few weeks away from "American Horror Story: Cult," the official Twitter page for the FX anthology series is hyping fans by sharing the the show's opening credits.

Last week, co-creator and showrunner Ryan Murphy took to Twitter to let fans know that the main title sequence would be released Monday. He made good on his promise as the 69 second clip was shared Monday morning.

The opening sequence, which was not used for "AHS: Roanoke" last year, gets a bit of an upgrade, sounding like a "House of Cards" version of the creepy theme song. That makes sense as "AHS: Cult" was inspired by the 2016 presidential election that saw Donald Trump elected as the 45th president of the U.S.. Throughout the new opening sequence, people are seen wearing Trump and Hillary Clinton masks.

Though a number of actors have been confirmed for "AHS: Cult" only five show up in the title sequence: Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Cheyenne Jackson, Billie Lourd and Alison Pill. Other stars include Billy Eichner, Colton Haynes, Adina Howard, Leslie Grossman and Chaz Bono, according to Entertainment Weekly.

"AHS: Cult" premieres Sept. 5 on FX.
