Gay Porn Star Turned German Spy Found Guilty of Working with Islamic Extremists

The German spy and former gay porn star was found guilty of sharing state secrets with Islamic extremists and was hit with a one-year suspended sentence, the International Business Times reports.
The 52-year-old spy, only known as Roque M., told court he was pretending to be an Islamic terrorist in an online chatroom and planning an attack because he was bored.
Roque M., who had a career in the adult industry before joining the Office for the Protection of the Constitution, was arrested last November under suspicion of being a highly placed Islamist mole inside the agency. He was freed in July after prosecutors dropped most of the charges against him, finding no evidence of an attack plot or connections to Isalmist groups.
The former banker and father of four told a court, however, he had secret lines of communication with the extremists because he grew bored of watching his disabled son on weekends, adding that immersing himself in the online world of Islamists was "an escape from reality."
"I never met with any Islamists. I would never do that. The whole thing was like a game," he said during his trial at a Dusseldorf court, according to the IB Times.
Nevertheless, Roque M. reportedly arranged a meeting with an Islamist at a gym but he insists he never had any intention of actually going. Still, the spy was caught sharing classified information about his organization with someone who turned out to be an undercover coworker.
