iZombie - The Complete Third Season

Hungry for MOORE? The hit anti-horror, action-comedy series "iZombie" - The Complete Third Season is now on DVD, and fans can re-LIV all the excitement as Liv (Rose McIver) and the rest of her zombie squad work together to stop all the evil-scheming goings-on! Now that the general population is aware of the undead living among them, an underground militia is forming in Seattle and Liv's one true love, Major (Robert Buckley), is among the recruits. Based on the DC Comics/Vertigo graphic novel, "iZombie" introduced Liv Moore, a promising mortician tasked with helping solve some of the most obscure crimes in Seattle. But when an unfortunate accident exposes the young woman to a lethal and dangerous virus, Liv is declared dead on the spot - only to reanimate and discover that she now has an insatiable appetite for human brains! Whenever she consumes brain matter, Liv takes on the memories and personalities of deceased. She uses her newfound talents to solve deadly cold cases.

As the series' central character "Liv Moore," Rose McIver continues to prove herself one of primetime's more interesting actors to watch. She pushes the envelope with every episode, mastering the challenge of having to have to play multiple personalities while seamlessly resonating as our heroine. Always looking on the brighter side of things, Liv must now come to terms with the revelation that other zombies live among us, and whether or not it's a good idea when they begin to rally in preparation for an inevitable war!

Both funny and heartwarming -- as well as sometimes terrifying -- "iZombie" happily fills the void that's been left from similarly styled series like "Buffy The Vampire Slayer" and "True Blood" that were able to turn irony into entertainment and gross into gorgeous.
