Ellen DeGeneres Hit with Backlash for Katy Perry Birthday Tweet

Twitter users are coming for Ellen DeGeneres over a tweet she made to wish Katy Perry a happy birthday.
On Wednesday, Ellen tweeted to the "Teenage Dream" singer, wishing her a happy birthday by writing, "Happy Birthday...It's time to bring out the big balloons!" - a reference to her song "Birthday." Ellen's tweet also included the infamous photo of herself looking down, in shock, at Perry's breasts.
The Wrap reports a number of Twitter users took issue with the tweet and photo, especially in the wake of the Harvey Weinstein sexual assault allegations.
Even some celebs weighed in on the tweet, including actor Michael Rapaport and Piers Morgan.
Ellen nor Perry have responded to the backlash.
