Today on 'Megyn Kelly Today': Megyn Kelly Interviews Corey Feldman About Pedophilia in Hollywood
READ TIME: 2 MIN.
Today on "Megyn Kelly Today" Megyn Kelly opened her show by mentioning the indictment of Paul Manafort. She then discussed actor Anthony Rapp's allegations about Kevin Spacey.
"Oscar-winning Kevin Spacey is joining the list of sexual misconduct," Megyn said, adding, "Many in the gay community said, 'Absolutely not!'"
She then discussed the allegations against NBC News's Mark Halperin, playing a pre-recorded interview and speaking with Eleanore McManus, one of Halperin's accusers.
Next up she spoke with Corey Feldman who was on the show to discuss pedophilia in Hollywood. Feldman explain he wants $10 million to make a film about the issue.
It was a rocky interview, where Feldman suggested law enforcement didn't do enough to help him when he was a teen. He then said many of the women who accused Harvey Weinstein of sexual assault "took a deal" to "keep their mouths shut."
"I don't think you're characterizing them correctly at all," Megyn said. "I think they took a deal...because they felt helpless, and this was the only measure of justice they could get."
Feldman said he was "never award that opportunity."
Megyn pushed Feldman to name names in order to help protect "other little boys."
Feldman didn't name names and then said someone tried to kill him recently.
"Someone tried to kill you? What happened," she asked.
Feldman said two trucks came "speeding at me on the highway at the same time." He then said he has "many witnesses to this."
"I'm not that they were trying to kill Corey Feldman but they were definitely trying to kill a group of people trying to cross the street," he added.
Feldman explained he's afraid to expose the men he's accusing of pedophilia and that he needs legal protection.
Megyn suggested pro bono lawyers.
"It means free," she later clarified, adding, "You know truth is an absolute defense to any defamation case. If you're telling the truth you have nothing to worry about. There's also a small risk you may not believed."
Feldman said he wants "people to open their eyes and see the light."
Megyn asked how many names Feldman can name. Feldman said six people, who are working in Hollywood. He noted not all of them are "famous VPs" or "executives."
"These are lower-level guys," he said.
One of the men he named is Marty Weiss, who he named in his book. Feldman said one of them is now "working for the LA Dodgers" and alleged this person "ran a child's club."
Megyn pressed Feldman to name him, but he said, "I can't do that right now until I have legal protection."
The next segment was about a woman who was in Megyn's audience and is dying of breast cancer. She came to speak about her diagnosis.
Later on in the show, Megyn welcomed lawyers Heather Hanson and Mark Eiglarsh, who were on to help us avoid "legal traps" we may fall into this Halloween. It's "news you can use," Megyn said.
They played a game of true and false, where it was revealed you could be sued if you sell your house, knowing it is haunted.
Megyn then teased tomorrow's episode will be celebrating Halloween.
