Viejas Casino & Resort Celebrates the Spirit of the Season with Its Annual Holiday Ice Skating Rink

Viejas Casino & Resort has once again transformed into a winter wonderland with the opening of its ice skating rink - the largest of its kind in Southern California. This marks the 10th consecutive year that the resort has celebrated the holiday tradition. The 9,800-square-foot ice rink is now open to the public and will remain open through Sunday, Jan. 28, 2018.

"We are so excited to welcome back our holiday ice skating rink for the 10th year in a row," said Vice President of Entertainment and Advertising Anthony San Pietro. "It is one of our favorite traditions and we love seeing people enjoy time with their loved ones while skating under our holiday lights."

Every year, more than 30,000 guests visit the ice skating rink at Viejas. Skate rental is available along with tasty snacks and hot and cold beverages for winter revelers. In addition to ice skating, Viejas visitors can enjoy spectacular performances every thirty minutes at the Viejas Outlets ShowCourt, featuring colored lights, lasers, fireworks, and a gentle snowfall all set to beloved holiday tunes.

The ice rink at Viejas is open every day in November and December, and in January with select dark dates. Tickets for children ages 12 and under are $14 with adult and teen tickets available for $16. For $99, guests can purchase a season pass and enjoy the ice skating rink for all three months.

On Friday, Dec. 8, guests are invited to experience a special tree lighting and holiday show at the rink. Join in the festivities as Viejas lights up its giant Christmas tree. The tree lighting and ice show will begin promptly at 6 p.m.
