READ TIME: 1 MIN.
Ricky Martin stopped by "The Ellen Show" this week to discuss his role on the upcoming season of "The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story" where the pop star will play the late fashion designer's partner, Antonio D'Amico. He also opened up about baring his behind on TV.
While discussing the show, a photo of Ricky as Antonio flashed on the screen behind the celeb and host Ellen DeGeneres, sparking a strong audience reaction.
"They're just reacting to you look[ing] like that," Ellen said of the audience, pointing to the photo of Martin in a bathrobe and small white underwear.
"Hey you know, you gotta do what you gotta do," Rick said. "It gets better though, to be honest... I show my tush for the first time on television."
"You sure do. And more than that," Ellen adds.
The out singer also discusses "The Assassination of Gianni Versace" and how the show relates to the LGBTQ community. He explains serial killer Andrew Cunanan, played by Darren Criss, was ignored by law enforcement as many officials looked the other way because his victims were gay men.
Ricky also opens up about Puerto Rico and his family.
"The Assassination of Gianni Versace" airs Jan. 17 on FX.
