Watch: This Reporter Who Freaks Out During a Ricky Martin Interview is All of Us

A reporter for the Chicago news station WGN-TV is going viral this week after she totally freaked out while interviewing Ricky Martin. And really, who can blame her?

Ana Belavel's interview with the out singer/actor was about Puerto Rico's hurricane relief efforts but things quickly changed when the reporter couldn't contain herself.

"I want to thank you for absolutely everything you and your fellow entertainers have done for Puerto Rico," Belavel says. "I did that you went there on a mission and handed out supplies... how is that going? Any plans for any other trips where I can go with you?"

"I knew the stalker was going to come out," one of Belavel's colleagues jokingly says off-camera.

After Martin does a through job at explaining his next steps to help the island, Belavel says: "We can stay at my parents' house, Ricky. I know you have a house there but you're like family to us... so you let me know."

A few moments later, Belavel is seen jumping and clapping with excitement. Unfortunately, the interview was via satellite so Martin can only hear how excited the reporter is.

"I want to see her. I want a hug!" he says.

"I don't think you want to see this," another reporter says off-camera as Belavel continues to gush and hugs the camera.

Belavel then takes a moment to explain her excitement to be speaking with him.

"You have to understand, when you're part of a minority and you don't have a lot of role models in media, and you have a Ricky Martin that, wherever you go in the world, it's a good name to mention as a Puerto Rican, oh my goodness you feel related to him," she says.

Though the WGN reporters believe the interview is over, Martin is still listening in on the conversation.

"He called me mama, baby!" Belavel says. "Can we make this happen?... I'll take care of his kids..."

"I'll call 9-1-1, don't worry Ricky," a reporter off-camera says.

"Oh, he's still there?! I'm going to kill you! Dios mio!" Belavel says.

For his Martin can't contain himself and has a good laugh.

"Please, I don't want to be involved in an another 'American Crime Story!' " Martin, who stars on "The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story," says before the clip ends.
