PopUps: Did Out Singer Troye Sivan Throw Away Flowers From a Fan? Twitter Thinks So

Out singer Troye Sivan was dragged on Twitter this weekend after photos surfaced that apparently showed him throwing away flowers a fan gave him as a gift.

Over the weekend, pics of Sivan started to circulate on social media, which shows screenshots of a fan's Twitter account (@lilactears). One pic shows the fan tweeting, "Got my flowers for youuuu @troyesivan see you soon love" along with a photo of the fan holding flowers. The next pic shows the fan handing the flowers to the singer and posing with him for a photo. And the final pic shows Sivan tossing the photos out and the Twitter user writing, "My heart just fucking shattered those are the flowers I gave him."

It didn't take long before Twitter users began to drag Sivan, who is gearing up to release his sophomore album and recently appeared on "Saturday Night Live" to perform his new singles "My My My!" and "The Good Side."

But as some Twitter users also defended the singer, pointing out, the photos of Sivan receiving the flowers and tossing the flowers out may have been taken weeks apart.

Sivan has yet to comment on the photos.
