Watch: Ricky Martin Responds to Gus Kenworthy's Fake Craiglist Ad
READ TIME: 1 MIN.
When he stopped by "The Talk" this week, Ricky Martin was asked about Olympic skier Gus Kenworthy's viral parody of a missed connections Craigslist ad he posted on Instagram after the Oscars, in which he wrote he, and his boyfriend Matthew Wilkas, wanted to "connect" with the singer and his husband, Jwan Yousef.
After host Julie Chen read the athlete's ad in full, Martin called the ad "cute," "clever" and "special," adding Kenworthy is a "national hero."
"Are we flattered? Yes we are!" Martin said. "It's one of those things - you have a great time you meet so many people. We'll definitely connect. I love you brother."
In his Instagram post, Kenworthy wrote in part:
The four of us chatted and laughed but then, sadly, got separated in the chaos of the Oscar's. My bf and I searched for you both for the rest of the night but never found you again. In town for a week. Let's connect.
