Kathy Griffin says she's "in shock" after her comeback show at Carnegie Hall in New York City sold out in 24 hours, Deadline reports.
Taking to Twitter, Griffin added she's "so grateful."
Earlier this month, the comedian announced a string of shows in New York and Washington - nine months after she made international headlines for a photo of herself that featured a fake severed head that depicted President Donald Trump. Speaking on "Real Time With Bill Maher," Griffin said she's dipping her toes back into touring even though the Trump family doesn't want her working again.
After an outcry, venues cancelled Griffin's shows and she lost her CNN New Year's Eve hosting gig with Anderson Cooper.
In a separate Tweet, Griffin also thanked Kim Kardashian and Kris Jenner, saying they've "shown me a lot of love & given me support when I needed it most. And it's never been for show."
A number of celebs showed support and congratulated Griffin on her recent success, including Bette Midler.
