Matt Bomer Buys Out 'Love, Simon' Showing in Texas Hometown
READ TIME: 1 MIN.
Out actor Matt Bomer loves "Love, Simon" so much he wanted to make sure everyone in his hometown of Spring, Texas got to see the gay coming-of-age film.
Bomer and his husband Simon Halls bought out the AMC theater in the town, and invited anyone who wanted to see the film, People magazine reports. The invite came via an Instagram post, in which the "American Horror Story" star, who doesn't appear in "Love, Simon," wrote that he and Halls "bought out the whole screening for you. This is an important movie, and a really good one. I know you'll love it so come watch for free this Sunday!"
Those interested in attending the screening can go to the "Love, Simon" screening at 4 p.m. on March 25 at AMC Spring 10 in Spring, Texas.
After Bomer, 40, saw the film earlier this month, he took to Instagram to laud it.
"I loved this movie so much (and not just because of the title), and I'm so happy that a generation of young people will have this to watch and realize that #loveisloveisloveislove," he wrote. "Please support this important film- check out the @glsenofficial website for listings around the country."
