Aaron Carter Says Coming Out as Bisexual was 'Misconstrued'
READ TIME: 1 MIN.
Don't expect Aaron Carter to settle down with another guy anytime soon.
The pop singer spoke with Hollywood Life this week and opened up about his sexuality, saying that while he finds both men and women attractive he's not likely to be with another man.
Carter, 30, made headlines last year when he took to Twitter to discuss his sexuality, saying "around 13-years-old I started to find boys and girls attractive." The tweet came about a month after he was arrested on DUI and marijuana charges in Georgia with his then girlfriend Madison Parker.
Speaking with Hollywood Life this week, the singer said his message was "misconstrued," however.
"I can find men and women attractive, but when it comes down to it, I think it was a little misconstrued," he said. "I see myself being with a woman and having kids. I want to have a family."
Last year, he told TMZ that he "had an experience when I was 17 with a guy, but now as an almost 30-year-old man, I'm going to pursuing relationships with women."
