After Coming Out, Actor/Model Zander Hodgson Introduces His Boyfriend

After coming out as gay in an emotional YouTube video last month, British actor and model Zander Hodgson is now introducing his fans to his boyfriend.

Earlier this week, Hodgson posted a photo of himself carrying YouTuber Troy Pes on his back on his Instagram, sharing the snap with his 103,000 followers. In his caption, Hodgson revealed he's "in love."

"So proud to be posting this today! We took this on a hike in Malibu and it's one of my favorite shots of us. Just in the moment, in love and loving life," he wrote.

On Pes' Instagram Stories, he shared a snap of himself cuddling with Hodgson, writing, "He could sleep until it's time to sleep again."

Though this is seemingly the first time Pes appeared on Hodgson's Instagram feed, Hodgson was spotted on Pes' Instagram back in February 2017.

Hodsgon, who has appeared on a number of TV shows like the U.K.'s "Shameless, shared a video called "Important Message" last month in which he revealed he is gay.

"This is something I thought was important to do for my own growth for myself to be unashamed to be able to connect to others to connect to you more," he says.

"I wanted to tell everyone that I am gay, and although that doesn't really change anything for me, and hopefully not for you, I just thought it was a really important thing to share with everyone, because it is," Hodgson continues. "Although I say sexuality is a small part of someone, if you shut it off, then you don't allow yourself to be fully known.

"If you shut off one thing of yourself, then you shut off so many other things," he adds. "Being able to get close to someone is hard when you don't allow yourself to fully connect and be known as who you are. And it's a really important part of me. And it makes me who I am. And it makes people love me."
