Tom Daley & Dustin Lance Black Reveal First Pics of Newborn

READ TIME: 1 MIN.

After revealing earlier this year that they were having a baby boy, couple Tom Daley and Dustin Lance Black took to social media over the weekend to reveal photos of their newborn.

The 24-year-old Olympic diver and the 44-year-old Oscar-winning screenwriter welcomed their first child, Robert Ray Black-Daley on Wednesday. Not long after, the couple shared a photo of themselves holding him in their hands.

"Welcome to the world little Robbie Ray. Thank you for bringing so much love and light with you," Lance wrote. "And thank you to those who helped make our dream of having a family into this wonderful reality."

Daley wrote: "Welcome to the world our precious little Robbie Ray Black-Daley. The amount of love and joy you have brought into our life is immeasurable, our precious little son"

Page Six reports Daley and Black, who tied the knot in May 2017, decided to name their son after the athlete's late father, who died of a brain tumor in 2011.

The men announced they were expecting a child via a surrogate in February. In March, they opened up about their decision being hit with negative criticism with regards to using a surrogate. Click here to read more about that.
