After Slur Controversy, 'Human Ken Doll' Removed from UK's 'Celeb Big Brother'

Not long after sparking controversy for using the n-word twice, producers behind the U.K.'s reality series "Celebrity Big Brother" say they removed Rodrigo Alves, a.k.a. "The Human Ken Doll," from the show.
The reason behind Alves' removal on Saturday morning remains unclear but comes just days after he made headlines for using the n-word twice inside the "Big Brother" house. He was officially warned by producers about his language and he apologized, blaming his use of the slur on being drunk. Some fans of the show were upset that Alves was not immediately kicked off the show.
The British tabloid The Sun reports Channel 5, the network that airs "Celebrity Big Brother," removed Alves, 35, for "serious inappropriate behavior." Alves lasted just nine days in the house.
"Rodrigo behaved seriously inappropriately inside the house," a source told the newspaper. "It came to the attention of producers who watched the footage back. After a discussion, they decided the only course of action would be to remove him from the house."
The source added: "Producers wanted minimum disruption to the show after making their decision. Rodrigo left the house in the early hours of Saturday morning following the live eviction on Friday."
The Sun writes that Alves' behavior was so shocking, producers decided the scene should never hit airwaves.
Alves, known for receiving several plastic surgery procedures, has a different version of events, however, and insists he decided to leave the "Big Brother" house.
"Living life with those fuckers are trying to fuck me over...lies!" he said in a Snapchat video, according to The Sun.
Alves also spoke with The Sun and said he demanded to leave "Celebrity Big Brother" because he could no longer stand being without his cell phone and missed his family and friends.
"I was not coping very well to be without my mobile phone and not being in contact with my family and friends," he told the newspaper. "After ["Bad Girls Club" star Natalie Nunn] left I felt very upset because she was the life and soul in the house and got very much misunderstood. All I wanted out of the show was to have fun and to show to the UK that I'm a nice and fun person."
