Watch: Cher Shades Madonna on 'Ellen'

READ TIME: 1 MIN.

Cher is not one to hold back and such was the case when she stopped by "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" this week.

The pop icon and TV host played the "5 Second Rule" game in which Ellen asked Cher who she'd like to collaborate with. Cher had five seconds to answer the prompt, "Name three celebrities you'd want to do a duet with."

The "Believe" singer's answer could have been simple but she decided to shade Madonna.

"Oh, Adele, P!nk and...not Madonna," Cher responded.

"Alright, Miss Negative," Ellen responded, adding, "He said who you'd want to, not who you wouldn't want to."

Cher said she's just playing the game.

"I took license, I took a little license," she said.

Billboard reports Cher's been vocal about her feelings for Madonna since the 90s, when she said while she respects her music and the way in which she approaches the music industry, she found her to be "mean," "spoiled" and "a bitch."
