"Big Brother" 20 houseguest JC Mounduix is defending himself from backlash now that the show has ended and he's back in the real world. Mounduix, who placed third, came under fire a number of times during the season due to his behavior towards fellow houseguests.

Speaking with Entertainment Weekly, Mounduix, who is an openly gay dancer residing in West Hollywood, defended himself after some fans took issue with some of his actions while in the "Big Brother" house.

"I can be a lot of things, but I'm not a pervert. I can tell you that," he said. "I hope these things don't escalate. ... Just don't magnify drama, how I like to call it."

Mounduix made headlines throughout the summer. In one of the bigger moments that made the "Big Brother" broadcast, Mounduix used the n-word when speaking to other houseguests. Another incident caught on the 24/7 live feeds involved Mounduix asking fellow houseguest Rachel Swindler if she is trans. Fans also took issue when Mounduix was seen kissing Tyler Crispen's armpit while he was sleeping.

Mounduix responded directly about his actions towards Crispen, who placed second.

"We were really close in the house. I was having nightmares all the time. I would have the girls and guys talk with me and patting me," he told EW. "Tyler was sleeping and he was making sounds that he never does, and I was like, 'Babe, it's gonna be OK.' I was in the middle of my sleep.

"I pulled his bandana down so he could sleep and I gave him a kiss on his shoulder," he added. "Honestly, I don't even remember that much. You know, we were super friends and super close."

At the time, "Big Brother" producers gave a statement to Us Weekly about Mounduix's actions, after "the expression of viewer concerns." They said they spoke to both Mounduix and Crispen.
