Kevin Hart Will Apparently Appear on 'The Ellen Show' Next Week

Following his Oscars controversy, comedian Kevin Hart is apparently set to appear on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" next week, according to the Daily Beast's Matt Wilstein.
Wilstein took to Twitter Jan. 2 and tweet that Hart "will be a guest" on the daytime talkshow Monday, Jan. 7.
Hart's appearance on "The Ellen Show" is notable. It was announced in December that the comedian would serve as host for the 91st Academy Awards but after a backlash regarding anti-gay tweets and jokes he made in his standup, Hart eventually stepped down.
DeGeneres, who hosted the Oscars in the past, of course is one of the most famous gay people in the world and received the Presidential Medal of Freedom from President Obama in 2016 for being one of the first openly gay stars to be on TV.
