Twitter Explodes After Alyssa Milano Calls Herself Trans, Lesbian, Gay & More

Twitter lit up over the weekend after actor Alyssa Milano tweeted that she is transgender, lesbian, gay, a person of color, disabled, an immigrant and more.

Her message came in response to a Twitter user named Kirk asked her if she is transgender. That question came when she said she was celebrating National Women's Day for her "transgender sisters."

"I'm trans. I'm a person of color. I'm an immigrant. I'm a lesbian. I'm a gay man. I'm the disabled," the "Charmed" star wrote. I'm everything. And so are you, Kirk.

"Don't be afraid of what you don't know or understand. No one wants to hurt you. We are all just looking for our happily ever after," she added.

Milano was likely trying to show support for marginalized groups but some Twitter users were not having it. After a backlash, she responded to clarify her comments.
