Fashion magnate Marc Jacobs wed fiance Charly Defrancesco, "Jacobs and Defrancesco – nicknamed "Char" – enjoyed a back tie reception at swanky Manhattan eatery The Grill," the tabloid reported.

"Jacobs posted a photo of his gold wedding band and Art Deco Diamond and Onyx Penguins cufflinks, a gift from Fabio Zambernardi, the design director for the Prada and Miu Mui brands, saying: " God="" is="" in="" the="" details.'
"He added: 'Penguins have only one partner and mate for life. A great example of faithfulness and fidelity.'"

Amongst the guests of close friends included actress Debi Mazar and fashion editor Katie Grand.

Earlier this year Jacob's proposal to Defrancesco, a candlemaker and former model, made headlines when he popped the question at a Chiptole to a organized flash mob of dancers performing Prince's hit "Kiss."

The reason, he explained, is that the pair, both have April birthdays, and always celebrate their birthdays at the Mexican fast food outlet, telling WWD: "It's his favorite restaurant. We have an annual [tradition]. Every year for my birthday we go to Chipotle."

The ceremony took place the day after Defrancesco's birthday, who added: "I know Marc really, really wants it at the Rainbow Room or the Boom Boom Room but I'd be happy getting married at Chipotle."

Jacobs added: "We don't want it to become bridezilla or anything like that but we do want to make it festive and a night we can all be with the people we love."
