In the Amazon Prime Original Series "Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan" - Season One, available now on Blu-ray, the famous CIA agent gets a complete and very contemporary reboot by Carlton Cuse, one of the creative forces behind "Lost" and "Bates Motel." Case teams up with John Krasinski, the latest Hollywood big name to take on the iconic character.

Ryan is great at his job, and an excellent problem solver; it's unfortunate that his PTSD keeps him up at night, and he overcompensates by working all night long. The opportunity to look at the character through the lens of a series allows the audience to spend more time in the middle of it all with Jack. Krasinski has proven himself a viable action hero, but the "everyman" appeal he has also serves him well, even as the other side of Jack Ryan - the analytical mind in motion - takes the spotlight here.
