Sativa or Indica?

That should have been the follow-up question to "Younger" star "I spend time with my spouse and my dogs and maybe smoke a little bit of pot and go to sleep," Tortorella, 30, said prior to a screening from "Younger" Season 6 at the Tribeca Film Festival on Thursday.

The TV Land series, which stars Sutton Foster as a 40-ish woman who assumes a Millennial persona to secure a job in publishing, returns on June 12. Asked about the season by Page Six, Tortorella said, "There" s="" a="" lot="" of="" drama="" everywhere.="" Josh="" has="" a="" whole="" new="" life="" that="" he="" has="" to="" deal="" with="" and="" a="" lot="" of="" celebrations."
2018 was a big year for the actor: They married Bethany C. Meyers
, fitness and lifestyle entrepreneur and LGBTQ rights activist, a year ago. At the time of their marriage, Meyers wrote: "If you had to label it, Nico and I are in a queer polyamorous relationship. Labels that help people understand, but not labels that define us. Most think we planned this and one day decided we would be multiple-love kind of people. We didn't. It's just the way our relationship developed over 12 years. We became polyamorous without ever really trying, and we let each other go so often; I guess we finally realized it's the reason we are impenetrable. It's hard to break something that bends."

"Tortorella, who is gender non-confirming and prefers the pronouns 'they' and 'them,' is also gearing up for the release of their book, 'Space Between: Explorations of Love, Sex, and Fluidity,' on Sept. 17, calling it a 'memoir, narrative, hybrid [of] sorts,'" he told Page Six.

"Who writes a memoir at 30, but I did that!" they joked.

"It's big. It's bold. The loud. It's beautiful. Really just through my own education of the queer community at large I just realized there was a piece of the story missing in mainstream pop culture and I wanted to do as much as I can to elevate the language."

Their marriage ruffled feathers in Meyers' family, who disinvited the recently married couple to Thanksgiving dinner last year. "Honestly, it's kind of a sensitive topic right this second,"
