Adam Lambert took to social media this week to reveal his fourth album.

The "American Idol" star revealed that the untitled album's first single will be called "New Eyes" and drop on May 15. The announcement comes after he released a song called "Feel Something" in February, which he said was not the lead single from his new album.

"I wanted to give a gift to you to kick off this new era before I drop my first official single," he told fans at the time. "It's a preview of the upcoming album and a song from me to you.

"I love making and performing music, but there have been many times where I've had to compromise on my artistic vision, with executives making decisions based on money and not art," he added. "Don't get me wrong – I'm VERY proud of my body of work. But I'm coming out of a dark period of second guessing my own artistry."

On his Instagram post, Lambert announced his "new era." Check out the post below.
