After the Met Gala, actor Nico Tortorella, who stars in the comedy "Younger," took to Instagram to show support for LGBTQIA+ people who were "snubbed" from this year's event, which was themed "notes on camp."

Sharing a photo of themselves with partner Bethany C. Meyers wearing mesh-black outfits designed by Sho Konishi, Tortorella, who came out as sexually fluid and uses non-binary pronouns, wrote:

"To all the LGBTQIA+ folk snubbed from this years camp themed #metgala, we see you. We are you. We love you. Let us all be reminded that an invitation does not equal value. we are all worthy.

"Every single one of us. Be camp. Be loud. Be ugly and beautiful, broken and pure," they added. "No one is more worthy than you. All of it is you. And after the afterparty, we're gonna keep it going."

There were a handful of queer people who attended the Met Gala Monday, including RuPaul and "RuPaul's Drag Race" winners Aquaria and Violet Chachki.
