Watch: Ex 'Drag Race' Judge Lucian Piane Arrested for Trespassing in LA
READ TIME: 2 MIN.
Former "RuPaul's Drag Race" judge Lucian Piane was arrested at gunpoint last month in Los Angeles for trespassing, according to a report from the Daily Mail.
After refusing to leave a Chase Bank on August 27, the 38-year-old music producer was arrested by two L.A. Country Sheriff's officers who had pointed their guns at him during the incident.
Peter Fitzgerald, an eye witness to the incident, spoke with the Daily Mail and said he was at a nearby Starbucks with a friend when he saw police arrive.
"The cops pulled up and pointed their pistols at the bank. I was frightened because I thought there was a heist or something," he said. "Two SUVs pulled up outside the bank and drew their guns. We were so surprised.
"Lucian pushed out of the doors with his hands up and gave himself up very willingly. They cuffed him and emptied his pockets," Fitzgerald told the newspaper, adding that he heard Piane tell the cops he was a guest judge on a popular reality show.
The Daily Mail reports Piane was arrested three times in August: Once for felony vandalism and another time on a citizen's arrest for trespassing, according to L.A. Police Department records. A family member told the newspaper that they were unaware of his arrests but said Piane has been getting treatment for mental health issues.
Just before the arrest, Piane's Twitter account was suspended after he went on a tirade, calling people "racist faggots" and asking if it was acceptable to "call Beyonce the N-word," according to the Daily Mail. His Instagram also appears to be suspended but his Facebook is still active.
In November 2016, the music producer, who has worked with RuPaul and the "Hairspray" soundtrack, made headlines for going on another Twitter rant in which he called the Clintons and Obamas murderers. In October of the same year, he tweeted his support for then-presidential candidate Donald Trump.
