Netflix Announces 'Grace and Frankie' Season 6 Date, Says Season 7 will be the Last

There are good news and bad news for fans of "Grace and Frankie."
Netflix announced Wednesday that the comedy's sixth season will hit the streaming platform in January 2020. The company also revealed the show, starring Lily Tomlin and Jane Fonda, has been renewed for a seventh season, which will also be the last.
With the news, Netflix pointed out that this makes "Grace and Frankie" the longest-running Netflix original series ever with a total of 94 episodes. Each season has 13 half-hour episodes.
Created by Marta Kauffman and Howard J. Morris, "Grace and Frankie" first debuted in 2015 and also stars Sam Waterston and Martin Sheen, who play ex-husbands-turned-lovers to Tomlin and Fonda. June Diane Raphael, Ethan Embry, Baron Vaughn and Brooklyn Decker also star.
