Before Disney releases their live-action version of "The Little Mermaid" next year, ABC will air a live musical of the classic story on Nov. 5 and Variety is reporting John Stamos and "Riverdale" star Graham Phillips is joining the cast.

Stamos will reprise his role as the cooky French chef Louis for "The Wonderful World of Disney presents The Little Mermaid Live!" having previously played the character during a Hollywood Bowl production of the film. Phillips, who starred in the 2018 comedy "Blockers," is playing Prince Eric.

It was previously announced that "Rise" star Auli'i Cravahlo will play Ariel, Queen Latifah as villain Ursula, and Shaggy as talking-crab Sebastian.

Disney's upcoming live-action version of their animated classic came under fire when it was announced Halle Bailey will play Ariel as some people voiced their outrage that a black actor was cast in the role.
