Just days before Ryan Murphy's first Netflix show "The Politician" premieres Friday, Deadline is reporting that David Corenswet, who appears in the comedy, will star in the out producer's next project called "Hollywood."

Corenswet will lead the show, which Murphy called "a love letter to the Golden Age of Tinseltown." Deadline writes it's understood the show will be set in the 40s.

Production on "Hollywood," which was co-created by Murphy and his frequent collaborator Ian Brennan, began this summer.

It was previously revealed that "The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story" Darren Criss will star in the show, which marks the fourth time he's worked with Murphy. Criss won an Emmy for his role as gay serial killer Andrew Cunanan on "ACS."

"Hollywood" will be the third Netflix series from Murphy, following "The Politician" and "Ratched," starring Sarah Paulson as the character Nurse Ratched" from "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest."
