Eminem and Elton John Reunite After Oscars

Eminem took to social media after his surprise performance at the Oscars Sunday night to share a backstage photo of himself reuniting with Elton John.

"I got to see my Uncle Elton tonight at the Oscars," the rapper wrote. "Congrats on your win too, sir!"

The photo shows Eminem with his arm wrapped around John in a dressing room. John took home his second Oscar Sunday, winning for Best Original Song for his "Rocketman" track "(I'm Gonna) Love Me Again."

During the ceremony, Eminem shocked audiences by performing "Lose Yourself," the 2003 Oscar-winning hit for the movie "Eight Mile."

The friendship between the two musicians is notable. Back in 2001, the duo performed together for Eminem's song "Stan," shocking many LGBTQ people as the rapper had come under fire for using gay slurs in his lyrics.
