"Onward," a Pixar film about a "suburban fantasy world" where "two teenage elf brothers embark on an extraordinary quest to discover if there is still magic left" in the world. The film also stars Chris Pratt, Tom Holland, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Octavia Spencer, Ali Wong, Mel Rodriguez, and more.

Waithe will voice Officer Spector, who comes out as gay early on in the film with a line of dialogue: "My girlfriend's daughter got me pulling my hair out," she says, according to BuzzFeed.
