'Modern Family' French Bulldog Stella Dies After Show Wraps

The adorable French bulldog named Beatrice, who played Stella on the ABC comedy series "Modern Family," has died, The Blast is reporting.
Beatrice reportedly died on Feb. 21 just a few days after "Modern Family" finished filming its series finale.
The pup first appeared on the Emmy-winning show in Season 2 when Jay (Ed O'Neill) reluctantly gets a dog, first played by the French bulldog named Brigette. In Season 4, Beatrice was brought in and Jay's relationship with the dog grew, becoming an enemy of Jay's wife, Gloria (Sofia Vergara).
After 11 seasons, "Modern Family" will air its series finale on April 8.
