Ansel Elgort Accused of Sexual Assaulting a 17-Year-Old Girl

"Baby Driver" star Ansel Elgort has been accused of sexually assaulting a 17-year-old girl in 2014, the website "The woman named Gabby, who did not reveal her last name, tweeted a statement on Friday and made an unverified claim that the actor, now 26, sexually assaulted her when she was a teenager. Elgort is one of Hollywood's leading young actors and is starring in the upcoming Stephen Spielberg-Tony Kushner remake of "West Side Story," due out at Christmas. He is also scheduled to appear in HBO Max's series "Tokyo Vice," and recently appeared in film "The Goldfinch."
In her account, Gabby direct messaged Elgort telling him she was soon to turn 17. He responded by giving her his Snapchat account and nude pics.
"She also posted a photo of what appeared to be her sitting with Elgort as well as what she said was a screenshot of their direct message exchange in which he provided his private Snapchat account. Gabby said she was coming forward now 'so I can finally heal,'" the Wrap report continues.

"Years later, I have PTSD, I have panic attacks I go to therapy," she wrote.
"He made me think this is how sex was supposed to be. I WAS SO YOUNG AND HE KNEW THAT. He as well said stuff like, 'you're going to be such a beautiful young lady when you're older." I was f–ing 17," she said in her statement.
"The woman also claims the actor asked her for a threesome with one of her dancer friends who was 'as well underage' and she didn't tell anyone because Elgort allegedly told her it could 'ruin his career,'"
"Representatives and managers for Elgort did not reply to multiple emails and calls from TheWrap seeking comment. TheWrap was unable to reach Gabby to corroborate her story. Her Twitter account has been in existence since 2014," writes the Wrap. After the initial report was published, she deleted her social media accounts after being flooded with comments.
Elgort is also being called out for alleged bad behavior when he was attending NYC's Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School a decade ago. "An anonymous Instagram post claims that an 'Ansel' bullied them in school with use of the racial slur, and that the school never took action to discipline him,"
"All that said, it's not clear if these allegations actually involve Elgort. The post doesn't explicitly identify the actor, and there's no other proof of any wrongdoing. But that hasn't stopped Twitter from doing what it does best, starting a trending wave of controversy about the allegations. The backlash was swift and fierce, with many saying the actor should be canceled, despite the lack of concrete evidence."
