Kellyanne Conway's teen daughter said she's being banned from social media by her parents after she went viral on TikTok for her progressive views and calling out her mother, a counselor to President Donald Trump.
On Monday evening, Claudia Conway, 15, tweeted: "my parents are forcing me to delete social media so this is my last tweet. apparently, i don't have a platform! it's fake! love you all so much. keep fighting."
The message comes not long after she made headlines for her TikTok videos, in which she shows support for the Black Lives Matter movement, calls out her mother's conservative views as well as President Trump. In one of her videos, she says: "I don't support the pussy-grabbing president. Period. Piece of shit. Period."
Claudia initially told USA Today that her father George Conway, who created an anti-Trump Republican super-PAC in 2019 despite his wife's involvement with the Trump administration, was "supportive" of her TikTok videos.
"A lot of people have been telling me that I'm disrespecting my mother by doing this–I'm not at all," Claudia said. "I want nothing but love for her because she is an amazing person."
Nevertheless, George eventually took to Twitter to tell the media that his daughter was off-limits for any questioning.
"To journalists: @kellyannepolls and I do *not* consent to any communications between you and any of our minor children, including our daughter Claudia. So desist. Thank you," he wrote at the time.
Last week, just before leaving social media, Claudia tweeted: "My parents, particularly my mother, are trying to silence me by getting me to delete my social media. haha."
