'Can You See The Moon?' Asks Actor John Barrowman in Cheeky Instagram

READ TIME: 2 MIN.

Out actor John Barrowman is best-known for his "Doctor Who" character Captain Jack Harkness, a pansexual time traveller from the 51st century. Captain Jack became so popular that in 2006 he got a spin-off, "Torchwood," which aired for four seasons. After that, the seasoned West End/Broadway performer toured as a singer and appeared on numerous televisions programs, including an ongoing role as the villainous Dark Arrow on the long-running CW series "Arrow."

This week he shared a cheeky Instagram of himself while rollerblading, when he shot his bare backside while in motion.

"The view behind me.... roller skating in Palm Springs. Can you see the moon? #Booty #wind Jb." he wrote on the post.

It is the latest in a series of Instagrams where he's exposed his rear.

Plus this funny one of Barrowman and a friend on the streets of Washington DC in 2018, where he wonders: "Are you supposed to sit in them?"

Barrowman has been in the news lately due to his return to playing Captain Jack Harkness in a special episode of "Doctor Who" (entitled "Revolution of the Daleks") that began airing on New Year's Day. On the episode, Variety reports, "Captain Jack will be on hand to help the Thirteenth Doctor (Jodie Whittaker) and her companions as they uncover an unsettling plan by one of the Doctor's formidable enemies, the Daleks. With the Doctor locked away in a space prison, it's up to Captain Jack to help save planet Earth.

"Putting on Jack's coat and setting foot back on the set of 'Doctor Who' was just like going back home," Barrowman said. "It's always thrilling to play Captain Jack. He's a character very close to my heart who changed my life, and to know the fans love him as much as I do makes his return even sweeter. I hope everyone enjoys Jack's heroic adventure with Thirteen."

Queerty writes: "Barrowman, a prolific Instagram user, posted videos earlier this week to mark the 14th wedding anniversary of his marriage to husband, Scott Gill. The two men met in 1993, and have been together 27 years (they had a civil partnership in 2006 and married in 2013)."

The 53-year old actor also posted a succinct goodbye to 2020 with an Instagram of him giving the finger.
