Sarah Jessica Parker and the Cosmopolitan Was Not Love at First Sip

"Sex and the City" catapulted the Cosmopolitan into the spotlight, but the show's star, Sarah Jessica Parker, wasn't a big fan at the onset according to a story she wrote for Grub Street.

"To be honest, I really do love a Cosmopolitan. I don't know how to make them well, but I genuinely love them. Strangely enough, it didn't happen until long after I stopped shooting the show and the movies," writes Parker. "I would be served them at restaurants, or people sent them over, and I was always very grateful. But I didn't really drink the cocktail until after we finished the show. I went to some place and had an exquisite one and then it started."

Parker also spilled the T about her food preferences with husband Matthew Broderick, which includes saving food scraps like parmesan rinds and slathering her bagel with Kerrygold butter.

"Sex and the City" is back in the spotlight after a reboot was recently announced, though one of the show's stars, Kim Cattrall, won't be returning.

Parker dismissed hard feelings, as reported by Yahoo Entertainment.

"No. I don't dislike her. I've never said that. Never would," Parker wrote. "Samantha isn't [sic] part of this story. But she will always be part of us. No matter where we are or what we do."

As far as the cocktail of choice, viewers will have to wait to see if the Cosmopolitan makes an appearance or if Carrie, Charlotte and Miranda discover a new libation for a new era.
