Gina Carano's Transphobic Tweets Draw Attention After 'Mandalorian' Firing

After her firing from "The Mandalorian," Gina Carano's transphobic tweets are now drawing attention, according to Sportskeeda.
Carano, who turned to acting after a career as an MMA fighter, added "beep/bop/boop" to her social media bio after urging from some fans to include her preferred pronouns in her online presence. This was widely interpreted as Carano mocking the transgender community, to which the conservative actress responded, "Beep/bop/boop has zero to do with mocking trans people & 100 to do with exposing the bullying mentality of the mob that has taken over the voices of many genuine causes. I want people to know you can take hate with a smile. So BOOP you for misunderstanding. #AllLoveNoHate"
While many fans supported Carano's mocking of the practice of using pronouns – decrying political correctness in the process – some didn't buy her argument and called her out for it. One Twitter user responded, "I was going to go completely off on this, but after thinking for a moment, all I'm going to say is, I hope that someday you realize how contradictory it is to make a joke at an entire marginalized community's expense to try and prove that you're 'anti-bullying'."
Another tweeted, "If you want to go after bullies, fine. But your little comeback does nothing to hurt them and only hurts vulnerable people. Seriously, how hard is it to put she/her in your bio? Why stomp your feet like a toddler who didn't get their ice cream?"
At one point, another Twitter user pointed out Carano's "Madalorian" co-star, Pedro Pascal – who just congratulated his sister Lux on coming out as trans – identifies as "them." Carano responded, "Yes, Pedro & I spoke & he helped me understand why people were putting them in their bios. I didn't know before but I do now. I won't be putting them in my bio but good for all you who choose to. I stand against bullying, especially the most vulnerable & freedom to choose."
Carano was recently fired from "The Mandalorian" after a social media post woefully comparing the persecution of Jewish people during the Holocaust to the impact of cancel culture on U.S. conservatives.
