Mexican Pop Star Clarifies Gay Rumors After Posting Nude Shower IG

Mexican pop star Ricardo Yocupicio posted a IG of himself that is not for publication and led many to think he is gay, reported the Spanish-language website Homosensual. (Translation via Google.)

The photo features him taking a selfie in the shower with his arm poised outside his butt cheeks. "I've barely been 2 months and what a dog scratches my arms," he wrote about the photo that is meant to show his progress at the gym.

"The photo of Ricardo Yocupicio naked ignited social networks with more than 32,000�likes�and hundreds of positive comments.�Some Instagram users�even recommended the singer to open his OnlyFans account," wrote Homosensual.

The 27-year-old lead singer for the popular Mexican band Banda El Recodo and contestant from�"The Voice Mexico" also promoted his bands newest single in the IG. "Have you heard our new single 'What are your words?' It is Available on all Digital platforms?" And this has led to some "trouble with their�comrades�of the�band..." wrote Homosensual, because they didn't think it "appropriate" for him to display himself naked.

Yocupicio apologized to the band and clarified the pics intentions in an interview on Wednesday. "Yes there was a�wake-up call, as it should be.�You have to do things more professionally, they already�talked to me.�If I wanted to do that type of�content, I should have made it more professional, "Ricardo Yocupicio confessed in an interview on the daytime talk show�"First Hand."
