Days after being announced as a contestant on Season 4 of The Boulet Brothers "Dragula," Drag Racealum Jade Jolie is apologizing for making a fascist salute in an adult video.

Jolie is said to be the first "RPDR" contestant to have done adult entertainment vids. "Aside from being known for their drag, Jade is also famous for being one of the first (if not the actual first)'Drag Race'queens to appear on the show only to have their gay porn past exposed to the public," writes The Sword. "Before Jade's season even premiered, news about their porn work under the name"Tristan Everhard"started makingheadlineswith videos and pictures of Tristan's work being spread around the internet."

Scrutiny of Jolie's adult career led to the discovery of his appearance in a Nazi-themed porn where he gives the Nazi salute dressed in cheesy military garb, along with two similarly attired performers.

Now Jade is apologizing in an IG story. "Hours after their'Dragula'casting announcement was made, Jade took to their Instagram story to post some white text explaining the situation while taking 'full accountability' for their involvement and emphasizing that they "do not support antisemitism, racism, or bigotry in any way," reports the Sword.

"When I was in my younger youth, I was down on my luck financially and did adult film work to survive," reads the Instagram story. "During one of the shoots I was involved in, I was asked to portray a nazi soldier in a scene. Against my better judgment and with an abusive partner pushing me to say yes, I chose to participate and I have felt shame and regret for that decision every day."

She later tweeted the IG story.

The Sword took the wayback machine to 2013 when they first reported on Jade's Nazi-themed porn moment. "... did you know that Jade Jolie wasn't just abareback gay porn star, but that she was also aNazi war criminalbareback gay porn star? It's true!," the site wrote accompanied by a photo. When "RPDR" winner Sharon Needles tweeted the Sword's post, Jade replied: "oh well NOT sorry about it. Here's jizz in your eye."

"Jade's new apology over the offensive Nazi project also seems to be the first time that they have ever publicly expressed any type of regret over their generalgay porn past," adds the Sword. "While it doesn't appear that they've done many interviews discussing the subject, a 2013 conversation with Jade shows theDrag Racestar not apologizing for their past or even disparaging the act of sex work.(Aka the exact opposite stance thatNew Mexico Democrat Roger Montoyatook when he ran for office last year and his porn past came to light.)"

"You know, as far as that goes, I'm never going to regret anything I had to do," Jade responded when asked about their porn career in the video below. "I had to make life decisions when I was young, to get by, the get where I am now. So I support everyone. You can come from somewhere like that and to be where I am now, so just don't ever give up on yourself and don't let anyone get you down."

None of her adult video past is mentioned in her bio about contestants in the upcoming season of the show on Fangora.

"Jade Jolie considers herself a drag chameleon and while she's already known as a previous competitor on'RuPaul's Drag Race,' she hopes to show audiences that she can evolve and adapt to any drag medium. As a lover of all forms of drag, Jade enters the competition with a desire to prove to the world that her drag style doesn't just fit in one category or box. While she feels people may be expecting a certain kind of drag from her, she warns them to expect the unexpected: 'I'm bringing things people would never think I was capable of. Get ready'."

While some doubt the sincerity of the apology, Twitter was largely supportive.
