Watch: Pete Davidson Makes Fun of Sex Symbol Status in 'SNL' Skit

Pete Davidson went all Robert De Niro in a funny meta-skit on "Saturday Night Live" this past week. And this unlikely sex symbol did so with the help of host Paul Rudd, recently named by People Mag as their sexiest man of the year.

In "An Evening with Pete," the black-and-white skit that evokes the Martin Scorsese movie "Raging Bull," Davidson played a washed-up version of himself in the year 2054 where he's performing at his own club to a half-empty room. "Pete performed terrible Staten Island jokes on stage that got no laughs, while Mikey Day egged him on to do his Chad character from the audience," wrote the Daily Mail.

"OK!" Pete replied, and the catchphrase was enough to placate them.

In the skit, Rudd plays an ex-"SNL" writer who turns up with a holiday gift on a snowy night, only to be dismissed by Davidson. "I saw this and thought of you," Rudd says, giving him the gift, which turns out to be a healthy bag of green. Touched, Davidson seeks out Rudd and they spend the holiday together.

Davidson even joked about his sex-symbol status.

"You guys know how I was a famous sex symbol for reasons no one could understand? This is the guy that came up with that," Pete told his friends while they dined with Rudd.

"Was it his idea to, like, cover your body in tattoos and then painfully remove them one by one?" Day joked in response.

These days the less-tatted Davidson has become, as we mentioned, an unlikely sex symbol, posing with his bud Machine Gun Kelly in Calvin Klein underwear and dating no less than Kim Kardashian, with whom he went to see the new "Spider-Man" film on Saturday.
