Is Jared Leto Saying Something With Shirtless 50th Birthday Pic Next to Slice of Pride Cake?

Is Jared Leto telling us something with his 50th birthday thirst trap?
The Oscar-winning actor (who is said to be short-listed for a nomination for "House of Gucci" next year), posted a shirtless pic of himself looking buff on Instagram with the message, "Thx for all the bday wishes!" followed by emojis.
"The photo might have been taken on the set of his upcoming Sony and Marvel film Morbius, as it happens to capture (what looks like) blood dripping from his mouth," Billboard said.
"In a second Instagram update on his birthday, Leto shared a personal family photo: 'Me and my mother in Louisiana,' he wrote about the classic black-and-white picture showing his then-pregnant mom. 'Born at 2:36 PM Central Time 1971. She made the dress herself. From old draperies,'" added Billboard.
Whether or not Leto is telling his fans something by posting himself giving a thumbs up while holding a plate with a piece of rainbow cake next to it is open to conjecture. Is he just being queer simpatico?
Last month the website The Little Facts reported speculation on Leto's sexuality. "People have been wondering if Jared Leto is gay for years. He never comes out and says he is, but the rumors persist. Some people say that they know a guy who knows a guy who saw him kissing another man in a club."
The site went on to say that Leto was spotted at an after-party for an awards show "where Leto is seen putting his hand near another man's crotch while wearing masks. It certainly looks like it could be him!"
When asked about defining masculinity by GQ Style in 2016, Leto said: "We're in an interesting time right now where people are exploring all kinds of different ideas of identity, not just masculinity or femininity. Maybe a whole new paradigm. I think that's great. Because a lot of people probably are marginalized still, and finding a sense of identity is critical to empowering people. For myself, I have never had a specific idea of masculinity. I think it's okay just to be yourself and whatever that entails. You know, I've certainly never felt required to present myself in a certain way."
Leto has been asked about his sexuality a number of times, saying he wasn't gay. He also told GQ Style that Hollywood isn't ready for a gay lead. "I definitely don't think a gay leading man would have the same opportunities as a straight leading man. I don't think that. Not for a single second. I don't know if that's offensive or not, but that's my thought right now. It shouldn't be that way. I don't think you'll have as many opportunities. And I think you could say the same for minorities. What a word, "minority." Have we taken that word off the list yet? 'Cause it should be. Anyway, no, I think that this is still a very conservative business."
