Britney Spears Celebrates 40th Birthday with Naked Selfie

Pop star Britney Spears is bringing new meaning to the #FreeBritney movement in celebration of her 40th birthday. As reported by Women's Health, Spears reveled in her newfound freedom by posting two saucy snaps to Instagram wearing nothing but thigh-high stockings and a choker.

There were flowers and heart emojis to cover up her Britney bits, but the message was clear: freedom, after the end of her nearly 14-year conservatorship.

"Free woman energy has never felt better ????," Britney captioned the photos.

Explaining her naked snaps in a previous post, Spears shared that naked makes her feel free.

"I want you to understand my thoughts on exposing my skin !!!! In my opinion it's quite twisted the immediate response of when any woman is hot and they want to shed a layer ... no ... I'm not talking in a strip club or a performance ... just on a practical scale of being in your car and realizing you're wearing a stupid long sleeve shirt in the summer !!!!" Spears said. "The immediate reaction to any woman who does this after shedding a layer is DAMN I FEEL BETTER ... therefore you think you look better !!!"

In honor of her new freedom, Spears also shared that she recently enjoyed her first glass of wine in 13 years.

"I'm sure it looks weird me dancing to @madonna so much ?????????????????????????????????... I see it ... it's like I'm not trying as much like I'm INDULGING ???? ..... well thats exactly what her music does to me ???? !!!" she wrote in the caption. "I mean I had my first glass of red wine ???? last weekend !!! I've waited 13 years ... that's long enough !!!"
