EDGE is looking back at 2022 and we're resharing some of our favorite stories of the year.

Calvin Klein is doing a throwback to its iconic 1990s campaigns. "While Calvin Klein 'showcases a new age' in its 54th year, the Spring 2022 collection satisfyingly goes back to beautiful basics," Harper's Bazaar said.

"Rather than revitalising pieces or re-branding like some major labels today, including Hugo Boss; Calvin Klein pays homage to the quintessential '90s – with 2022's hottest stars."

Called "All Together," that "Calvin Klein tapped photographer Glen Luchford to shoot a diverse cast of 120 entertainers and meaning-makers to highlight the power of collectivity."

An accompanying video campaign by Melina Matsoukas features stars who are reshaping the culture, including Solange, Dominic Fike, Vince Staples, Jennie of Blackpink, Burna Boy, and Deb Never.

"The result is an electrifying and visually stunning campaign that features classic and archival Calvin Klein pieces revamped with new proportions, silhouettes, and colors–driving the brand toward the future," Interview Magazine said. "The video brings the campaign's core message to life with shots of Solange in all-white CK undergarments and scenes featuring Dominic Fike skating with a crew decked out in crisp t-shirts, tank tops, and baggy jeans."

The 26-year-old Fike is better known for his music career, but recently made his acting debut as Elliot on the hit HBO Max series "Euphoria." He was introduced in the season's first episode when he shared drugs with Rue Bennett (Zendaya) in the laundry room of a posh house during an out-of-control New Year's Eve party. He quickly becomes besties with both Rue and her girlfriend Jules Vaughn (Hunter Schafer), with sexual tension the subtext in many of their scenes.

Last August, Fike told Variety that appearing on the show "feels like a long music video."

He explained how he auditioned for the first season, only to have his character cut. "A year later, HBO reached out again, and Fike auditioned for a bigger role, a character he says reminds him of his younger self," added Variety.

"I don't have to do much acting," Fike says. "He's exactly like me. It's shit I would say and shit I would do."

Or used to do, because unlike Elliot, Fike is now sober. He credits that sobriety with putting him in a better headspace and providing a newfound joy in creating.

And since "Euphoria," he is going out on more acting auditions. "I'm in overdrive," he said. "I feel like I can work forever and do anything."

Additionally, Fike's music career is in full-swing. "The past year has seen collaborations with Halsey, slowthai and Remi Wolf. In March, the multi-hyphenate artist became the face of Sir Paul McCartney's new album," Variety said.

"I was just in my kitchen making a sandwich, and my manager was like, 'Yo, I think Paul McCartney just hit us up,'" Fike recalled. "I was like, 'Shut the fuck up dude,' and went back to making the food."

Variety added that he also is working with another music superstar. "Fike also put out a song with Justin Bieber, who he calls a 'harmony master.' When Bieber slid into Fike's Instagram DMs asking him to sing a verse on his album 'Justice,' the pair hopped into the studio and laid down vocals for the '80s synth-clad 'Die For You.'"

Fike can now check off "appear in Calvin Klein ad" on his path to superstardom.
