EDGE is looking back at 2022 and we're resharing some of our favorite stories of the year.

The reality show "InfluenceMe" is looking for new cast members and adult male actor Skyy Knox wants it to be him. He is vying for a spot on this new show that's centered around exploring "the deeper world of social media influencers" by putting them "through engaging and unique challenges that will test their capabilities both online and in real life," reports The Sword. "If selected, Skyy will be part of a 20-person cast that is competing to win a $100,000 cash prize and the title of Most Relevant Influencer."

On his voting page, he writes: "I was born to be in the spotlight. I have been performing my whole life. This would help me continue to grow as an entertainer. I believe I would bring the most unique personality to this show that the viewers would fall in love with. I'm not only a professional Dancer/Mother del but I'm also an international award winning porn star. I want to show the world that SEX WORK IS WORK!!! My friendly face and charm is the way to show the world exactly that. Ive also been exploring my gender and would love to blossom for the world to see that gender is a spectrum."

To The Sword, he said: "I have been performing my whole life. Being a part of 'InfluenceMe' would help me grow as an entertainer," Skyy exclusively tells The Sword. "I believe I would bring the most unique personality to this competition that the viewers and judges would fall in love with. I'm not only a professional dancer/model but I'm also an international award-winning porn star!"

The Sword adds that not much is known about the show except that it is to be hosted/judged by pop star Pia Mia, controversial YouTuber Tana Mongeau, Nader Navabi, Tara Electra, and James Clayton.

Voting can be done at this link. Everyone gets one free vote, "after that, each vote costs one dollar with all proceeds going towards The Jed Foundation, a nonprofit that partners with 'high schools and colleges to strengthen their mental health, substance misuse, and suicide prevention programs,'" writes The Sword.

Knox is no stranger to reality television, having appeared on "Boy Boy Montreal," which describes itself on its website as "a humorous documentary series that paints a contemporary portrait of gay pornography in Montreal, a major hub of this lucrative industry. Each episode covers a different topic to provide an overview of the industry including international actors, cult filmmakers and other specialists."

In reporting on Knox's appearance on the series' first episode, The Sword writes "he stars in a humorous Q&A segment where he reveals that a fan once asked for a photo of him on the toilet and he's also a centerpiece of the episode's closing segment. That portion of the episode shows Skyy having an emotional conversation with the owner of a gay adult DVD store who reveals that with the digital age, it's unlikely that his business will be around much longer."
