Dumbledore has one less secret thanks to the latest trailer for "Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore," and fans are gagging.

As reported by The Independent, a new trailer for the film, scheduled for an April release, reveals that the fantastic wizard (played by Jude Law) is gay and grappling with his love for his rival, Grindelwald (played by Mads Mikkelsen).

In the trailer, the two wizards meet to unpack Grindelwald's evil plans to take over the world, and the scene sheds light on their history as Grindelwald recounts that Dumbledore promised to always be by his side. "It's because I was in love with you," Dumbledore replies.

It's a nod and a small step for LGBTQ representation in the franchise, fans have noted.

"A small victory for the LGBTQ community for sure. At least now it's cannon," one Twitter user said about the plot point.

"The way Mad Mikkelsen makes everything gay and evil he is the love of my life," another Twitter user noted.
